Is Live It Up Super Greens Any Good?

As a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, I do not see this as one of the better greens powders on the market and would NOT recommend this supplement to any of my clients. There are many reasons why, but the biggest reason is simply the lack of potency in the greens blend itself.

This supplement contains a diverse selection of super greens, vitamins and minerals, and other superfoods, but the overall dosage of their greens blend is simply too low at only 8,000 milligrams per serving. 8,000 milligrams worth of greens is nothing to scoff at, but let me put this number into perspective for you…

My top recommended greens powder, Total Living Drink Greens, provides 15,000 milligrams worth of superfoods per serving. Yes, you read that right. The Total Living Drink is quite literally just under TWICE as potent as Live It Up Super Greens in terms of the amount of superfoods per serving. This is the main reason why I don’t feel comfortable recommending Super Greens…it’s just too weak.

Live It Up Super Greens Overview & Background

While I do not recommend the supplement, that’s not to say it’s a bad product. It simply isn’t as good as some of the top notch greens powders on the market. I don’t blame the company who made the supplement. It’s a simple matter of I personally can not recommend a product that I see as not good enough. Anyways, here are some of the positive things I can say about it…

Live It Up Super Greens Benefits Unveiled

Here is a list of the potential benefits you could experience if this super greens powder supplement works how it is designed to (which again I personally doubt)…

Elevated Energy Levels and Vitality

This green powder supplement positions itself as an energy booster without having to rely on stimulants. The nutrients in this formula can help boost energy levels and contribute to vitality, making it an attractive option for those seeking an energy lift without the caffeine crash.

Improved Immune Function

With immune-supportive ingredients like echinacea and spirulina, this greens powder aims to fortify the body’s defense mechanisms via immune-boosting benefits. Proper immune system function is incredibly important for your overall health and well-being.

Digestive Health

The inclusion of digestive enzymes and probiotics underscores the formula’s commitment to digestive health. These elements promote a balanced gut health environment and help promote digestion and nutrient absorption. Your gut health plays an absolutely massive role in your overall health, which is why it is crucial for greens powder supplements to provide prebiotics, probiotics, and a strong digestive enzyme blend.

Many greens powders are lacking in the probiotics and digestive enzymes departments, which is a major issue. Without enough probiotics and digestive enzymes, your body will not be able to properly digest and absorb the nutrients you are consuming. You simply need these components in order to achieve healthy digestion.

In other words, without digestive enzymes, the greens could end up going to waste. For this reason, many other greens powders contain much higher dosages of probiotics and digestive enzymes than Super Greens contains.

Incorporating Live It Up Super Greens into Your Morning Routine

Regardless of what particular super greens powder supplement we are talking about, I always tell my clients that it is best to take superfood powders in the morning as part of their daily routine. That is the strategy I personally utilize, and I have found that taking green powder in the morning provides me with great health benefits throughout the day.

Dosage Recommendations

Optimal results often hinge on correct dosage. We’ll explore recommended serving sizes for Super Greens, considering factors such as age, health status, and individual dietary needs. In general, you should always follow the instructions on the label when it comes to dosage size and frequency. Another good rule of thumb is to always consult your primary care physician regarding dosage sizes.

Culinary Versatility

Taste is crucial in supplement adherence, but many popular greens powders use things like artificial sweeteners and artificial flavors to improve taste, which is not ideal. Super Greens addresses this by offering creative mixing ideas. Since this supplement does not contain artificial sweeteners or any other artifical flavors, it does not taste very good.

Here are some tips on how to incorporate the supplement into your routine without having to deal with the not so pleasant taste…

  • Mix it in with orange juice instead of water
  • Mix the greens in with a smoothie (I personally like mixing greens in with organic peanut butter and almond milk)
  • Mix it with peppermint tea in order to give it a minty flavor if that’s your thing
  • Try the berry flavor instead of the original one

Considerations and Potential Drawbacks

Here are some of the potential Super Greens side effects…

Possible Side Effects

While this greens powder aims to be a comprehensive health supplement, it’s crucial to discuss potential side effects or allergies associated with its ingredients. Users need to be well-informed about any potential adverse reactions.

Quality Assurance and Certifications

Live It Up places a strong emphasis on overall quality and the use high quality greens powder ingredients. To explore any certifications the product holds and their significance in ensuring its quality and safety, be sure to check out their website for things like third party testing and Certificates of Analysis.

Generally with green powders and green supplements in general, you want to make sure they have been third party tested so that you can be confident the supplement facts panel is accurate. When a supplement is third party tested, it essentially ensures that the company is being honest about the ingredients. After it has been third party tested, you can be pretty confident you are getting exactly what you paid for.

Live It Up Super Greens Reviews & Testimonials From Real Customers

User testimonials provide invaluable insights into a product’s efficacy. We’ll highlight positive experiences and feedback from Live It Up Super Greens users, offering real-world perspectives on the impact of this supplement.

There is one major problem with the Super Greens reviews, which is that they are posted directly on the company’s website as opposed to being posted on a third party website like Amazon, which generally makes the reviews more trustworthy.

I am not by any means saying that the reviews they posted on their website are not real, but I much prefer to see the reviews come from a third party source so that we can be 100% sure they are actually from real customers. Supplement companies can put whatever they want on their own website…just something to keep in mind.

Is Super Greens Worth It? My Conclusion

Bottom Line: At the end of the day, Live It Up Super Greens is NOT worth it in my opinion due to the lack of potency with regard to the amount of superfoods per serving. Again, I am not saying it is a bad supplement. I’m just saying it can not compete with the top shelf greens powders, which is why I simply do not feel comfortable recommending it to my clients or readers.
