Weider Prime Testosterone Support Review (Is This Supplement Legit?)

by Joe Costello, CNC | Testosterone Boosters

Weider Prime testosterone booster supplementWeider Prime Testosterone Support is a natural testosterone booster that could potentially help guys with Low T get their levels back on track. There are a lot of potential benefits and great ingredients, but the overall potency is actually rather weak, which is why Weider Prime did not manage to rank in our top 10.

Read this Weider Prime Testosterone Support review to learn the many reasons why it failed to make our carefully researched list of the top 10 BEST TESTOSTERONE BOOSTERS of 2023, and discover the analysis behind the reason why we ultimately do NOT recommend it.

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Benefits

Here are the key Weider Prime Testosterone Support benefits as claimed by the manufacturer:

  • Can improve performance in the gym
  • Strength and endurance can be enhanced
  • Sex drive could improve considerably
  • User may experience naturally elevated energy levels

Is Weider Prime Testosterone Support Any Good?

Testosterone boosters should generally be evaluated by the quality and quantity of ingredients, as is the case with essentially all supplements. In the case of Weider Prime Testosterone Support, there are only 4 active ingredients, and it has a total overall potency of about 1,100 milligrams per serving. Both of these numbers are super weak. Let’s put it into perspective…

Our top ranked testosterone supplement, TESTOGEN, contains over 10 active ingredients and has an overall potency of about 2,500 milligrams per serving, meaning it has over twice as many active testosterone boosting ingredients and is over twice as potent as this Weider Prime Supplement…so yea, we’re looking at a pretty nutritionally weak and overall bad supplement here.

As a Certified Nutrition Coach with a lot of experience in the testosterone supplement space, I would never recommend this product to any of my clients or readers. The formula severely lacks potency and as missing several key anabolic agents such as D Aspartic Acid, Fenugreek, and Tribulus Terrestris. I do NOT recommend Weider Prime, and would strongly urge you to have a look at some other higher quality options.

How Does Weider Prime Testosterone Support Work?

Weider Prime is designed to work through the stimulation of increased testosterone production through the use of natural and herbal ingredients. Testosterone levels in men tend to decrease as they age, and this can cause a wide range of symptoms. Most men report feeling at least a couple of these symptoms, which are actually signs of Low T (low testosterone levels).

If you find yourself potentially suffering from Low T symptoms, don’t freak yourself out. Nearly all guys experience it at some point, and the solution is easier than you think. In our opinon, Weider Prime is not your best option, but take a look at some of our other testosterone booster reviews to see some more highly ranked T boosters.

A high quality, effective testosterone booster could potentially be exactly what you need whether you have Low T or just looking for an extra boost in the gym. We just don’t think Weider Prime is the right choice.

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Ingredients

Here are the primary Weider Prime Testosterone Booster ingredients:

  • Diindolylmethane
  • Ashwagandha Root Extract
  • Cordyceps Extract
  • Piperine
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin B12

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Ingredients List

Diindolylmethane

Recent studies have shown that DIM has serious potential for increasing testosterone levels in men. With that said, DIM has also been previously used in women because of the way it can effect estrogen levels. For that reason, it may not be in the best interest of men to use this supplement as it may counteract what you are trying to accomplish.

A lot of testosterone boosters contain estrogen blockers in order to prevent estrogen from being produced as that is not what you want as a male with Low T issues. However, since DIM could actually lead to estrogen increase, it might be risky to count on it as a testosterone booster.

Ashwagandha Extract

Ashwagandha was tested on human subjects in order to determine the effect it may have on testosterone levels in addition to the effect it can have on levels of other hormones such as cortisol. It was shown to help suppress cortisol production, which can thereby reduce stress and anxiety.

More importantly for the purposes of Weider Prime, it was also shown in the same study to be able to positively effect testosterone levels in men. That doesn’t mean you’ll get a guaranteed testosterone boost because all people are different, however the results of this study are pretty promising.

Cordyceps Extract

Cordyceps has been shown to have various effects on testosterone levels in users depending on what their current levels look like. It is believed to return testosterone levels to the way they are in the body’s homeostatic state. That means if you have High T, then it can help reduce your levels. Conversely if you have Low T, it can help to boost your levels.

One issue with Cordyceps in our opinion is the fact that it is not often used in testosterone boosters. Generally, ingredients with the most evidence for their effectiveness are used commonly by manufacturers. The fact that this ingredient isn’t in very many testosterone supplements out there is sort of a red flag in our opinion that may point to insufficient evidence.

Weider Prime Reviews (customer reviews submitted by real users on Amazon)

While we generally like to rely on the supplement facts panel in our reviews, we also like to take into account customer reviews and experiences to get an idea of how people are responding to the supplement. We looked into the Weider Prime Testosterone Support reviews submitted on Amazon, and what we found was actually surprisingly impressive considering how weak the formula is.

Out of over 1,700 total Weider Prime reviews, it received an average rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 stars, with 66% of users giving it a 5 star rating. That’s a pretty impressive statistic, but we can’t ignore the negative reviews either. About 20% of the Weider Prime reviews submitted on Amazon are negative, rating it between 1 star and 3 stars.

You can definitely take something away from reading customer reviews, which is why we always take the time to examine them, but the key here is to stay focused in the facts. The Supplement Facts Panel (SFP) is called the supplement FACTS panel for a reason…it can not lie. Reviews can be biased, whether it is intentional or not, but the facts can’t lie…and sadly, the supplement facts in this case are very underwhelming.

The Pros of Weider Prime Testosterone Support

  • Contains multiple promising testosterone boosting ingredients
  • Clinical studies provide some evidence for the claims being made
  • It contains 10 different ingredients, which is pretty high formula diversity

The Cons of Weider Prime Testosterone Support

  • The overall potency is low compared to some of the other testosterone boosters we have reviewed
  • It doesn’t contain several of what we believe to be vital ingredients for testosterone supplements (Example: Fenugreek)

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Conclusion

Bottom Line: Weider Prime is overall a pretty decent supplement with a lot of potential. With that said, there isn’t a whole lot of clinical evidence for all of the ingredients. It contains a couple of highly proven ones such as Zinc and Vitamin D, but overall we think the formula is just average.

The best part about the formula is the high diversity (contains 10 different T boosters). When all is said and done, we simply don’t feel comfortable recommending this average test booster. Visit our Testosterone Boosters page to see the top recommendations!
