Overview of Ghost Greens

Ghost Greens is positioned as an all-encompassing greens formula designed to provide the nutritional benefits of consuming a variety of fruits and vegetables without the hassle of meal preparation. Ghost Lifestyle emphasizes the quality and transparency of their ingredients, catering to individuals who seek a clean and effective supplement to enhance their dietary intake.

The glaring issue that so often occurs when I am evaluating greens powders is simply that the overall potency of the greens blend itself is not high enough. In other words, the greens powder does not contain enough superfoods per serving to ultimately be worth the money. In the case of the Ghost Greens powder, it provides about 9,000 total milligrams worth of greens, superfoods, fruits and vegetables per serving.

9,000 milligrams may sound like a lot, but to put it into perspective, let’s compare it to my top recommended greens powder (which is also the one I personally take myself). The #1 ranked Total Living Drink provides 15,000 milligrams worth of greens, superfoods, fruits and vegetables in every serving, making it over 50% more potent than the Ghost Greens powder. To make matters worse, the price point for these two supplements is almost exactly the same. So if you buy Ghost Greens, you’re paying the same price for 50% less nutrients…yikes.

My Personal Ghost Greens Review: Experience And Results!

As a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, I feel that it’s my job to not only analyze the nutrition facts and Supplement Facts Panel (SFP), but also to personally test the supplement for myself in order to give my clients a genuine opinion on the product. So, I bought myself a 30 day supply of it, and here’s what happened…

I personally went with the Guava Berry flavor because it seemed to be the most popular, and that was a good choice. This flavor tastes shockingly good, considering the fact that superfood supplements generally do not taste good at all. With that being said, the texture was very bad in my opinion. It was very gritty and the consistency was bad, which made it hard to drink a full glass of this stuff.

However, taste and texture are just the beginning. The most important question is: does Ghost Greens work? Is it worth it? I intended to take the full 30 day supply, but I ended up only taking it for two weeks because I could not get past the gross texture and consistency of the product. After two weeks of taking it, I can’t say I noticed any health benefits whatsoever.

Usually with greens supplements, I notice benefits in the first few days of taking them. Generally these benefits appear as better digestion, improved energy levels, enhanced cognitive function, etc. However, I can’t say I experienced any of those benefits when I was taking Ghost Greens.

The only thing I noticed while I was taking it is something that I would actually classify as a side effect, which was an upset stomach. Every time I took it, it made my stomach hurt and caused me gastrointestinal distress throughout the rest of the day, which was very off putting and ultimately what stopped me from completing the full 30 day supply of it…I just couldn’t deal with the way it was bothering my stomach.

Bottom Line: After taking Ghost Greens myself for two weeks, I did not experience any health benefits and actually experienced side effects, which caused me to stop taking the product. As a result of my negative personal experience combined with my analysis of the formula, I would NOT recommend it to any of my clients or readers.

Ghost Greens Ingredients

Ghost greens nutrition facts and supplement facts panelThe Ghost Greens superfood powder features a robust lineup of ingredients, each selected for its potential contribution to overall health. Some of the key Ghost Greens ingredients include:

  1. Greens Blend: The Ghost Greens blend includes a variety of nutrient-dense greens such as organic wheat grass, organic barley grass, organic spirulina, organic cracked cell wall chlorella, and spinach. These are the most important nutrients in the Ghost Greens blend, but there are several more listed below in the full ingredient list.
  2. Fruits and Vegetables: The Ghost Greens fruits and vegetables blend is separated into two different sections. The first is called the Super Greens Blend, which includes nutrients like kale powder, broccoli sprout concentrate, and many more vegetable extracts. The second is the Antioxidant Reds Blend, which includes nutrients like organic goji berry powder, blueberry juice powder, aronia fruit powder, and many more fruit extracts (commonly knowns as “Reds” listed below).
  3. Antioxidants: Ingredients with antioxidant properties, such as quercetin, green tea extract, and organic matcha are included to help combat oxidative stress.
  4. Digestive Enzymes: Digestive enzymes like amylase and lipase are included to enhance the digestion and absorption of nutrients, support gut health, and improve digestive health overall. No greens powder supplement is complete without digestive enzymes.
  5. Probiotics: The Ghost Greens superfood powder includes probiotic strains like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium to support gut health and digestive health. On the supplement facts panel, they call this the “Ghost gut health blend.” The ghost gut health blend is a solid addition the formula. I always like to see a hefty dose of probiotics when evaluating greens powders because they are key when it comes to supporting gut health. I’d say the ghost gut health blend is pretty well designed overall.
  6. Fiber: Fiber sources like inulin or flaxseed are included to support digestive health.
  7. Other Nutrients: The Ghost Greens superfood powder contains many additional naturally occurring nutrients like vitamins and minerals as a result of the formula. For example, greens like Chlorella and Spirulina specifically naturally contain a lot of essential vitamins and minerals. Ghost Greens Reviews From Real Users

My personal ghost greens reviewBefore we get into examining actual customer reviews that I found on Amazon and a couple of other sites I trust, let’s talk about some of the key topics people take into consideration when testing a greens powder. I will also give my personal opinion on each one after trying Ghost Greens myself…

Flavor and Mixability: Ghost Greens is commonly available in powder form and comes in various natural flavor options. User reviews suggest that the product mixes well with water or other beverages and offers palatable flavors. Common natural flavor options include citrus, lime, and guava berry.

I personally ordered the Ghost Greens Guava Berry flavor, and I have to admit, it tasted pretty good for a greens powder. I found it to be very easy to mix into a cup of water as well. I also read a Ghost Greens review written by someone who tried the lime flavor, and from what I can tell, it appears the lime flavor does not taste as good as the guava berry flavor, so it seems I made the right choice there.

Texture: Some greens supplements can have a gritty texture, but Ghost Greens is designed to be smooth, making it more enjoyable for those who may be sensitive to texture. The key word in that sentence is “designed.” I’m sure that Ghost Lifestyle wanted it to have a good texture, but in my personal opinion, the texture was not good at all. I personally found it to be very gritty and difficult to consume, aside from the flavor being solid (specifically the Guava Berry flavor).

Digestibility: Users generally report that Ghost Greens is easy to digest, and the addition of digestive enzymes may contribute to improved tolerance for those with sensitive stomachs. I personally found it to be fairly easy to digest. My body took a few days to get used to it, but overall I would personally rate it a 7 out of 10 for digestibility.

Ghost Greens Reviews on Amazon, GNC, and Vitamin Shoppe

Now its time to dive into the actual customer reviews. I always like to start with Amazon because they tend to be a very trustworthy source. This is because they only allow verified buyers of the product to submit a review, so I personally really like to utilize Amazon specifically.

There are a total of 550 Ghost Greens reviews on Amazon at the time of writing, and the supplement received an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars…that’s pretty impressive! It seems like people are really enjoying Ghost Greens. With that being said, about 15% of people rated it 3 stars or less, so there was definitely some negative feedback in there.

To dive even deeper, I also checked out the reviews on the GNC and Vitamin Shoppe websites. I have to admit, I generally don’t trust these sites as much as I trust Amazon, but these are worth looking at nonetheless. On GNC, there a total of 150 reviews at the time of writing, and Ghost Greens again received an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars across those 150 reviews…so it seems to be pretty consistently true that users generally have positive results with the product.

Last but not least, I checked out the Ghost Greens customer reviews on the Vitamin Shoppe website just to be as thorough as possible. Unfortunately, there was only one review at the time of writing this article…but for what its worth, that person gave it 5 stars. I suppose that counts for something.

It seems like I am one of the few people who had a negative experience with this supplement…probably because I have tried so many superior greens powders.

Ghost Greens Pros

Here are some of the Ghost Greens benefits and pros in terms of the formulation…

  • Comprehensive Greens Blend: Ghost Greens incorporates a wide variety of gluten free nutrient dense greens, offering a comprehensive source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
  • Superfood Complex: The inclusion of gluten free superfoods like spirulina and chlorella adds an extra layer of nutritional richness to the formula.
  • Digestive Enzymes: The digestive enzyme complex may enhance nutrient absorption and aid in the digestion process, making it suitable for individuals with digestive sensitivities.
  • Transparent Labeling: Ghost Lifestyle’s commitment to transparency is reflected in the full disclosure labeling, allowing consumers to know exactly what they are getting.
  • Convenience: For individuals who struggle to meet their daily vegetable intake, Ghost Greens offers a convenient, efficient, and gluten free solution.

Ghost Greens Cons

Here are some of the cons of the supplement that I felt were worth noting…

  • Price: As with many high-quality supplements, Ghost Greens may be relatively more expensive compared to basic greens products. The cost may be a consideration for those on a tight budget. I also think that for what you are getting, the product is NOT worth the price by any means.
  • Individual Preferences: Flavor preferences can vary, and while Ghost Greens offers diverse options, individual taste preferences may influence the overall experience. I personally enjoyed the Guava Berry flavor, but I really disliked the texture and consistency, which made it hard to drink.
  • My Negative Personal Experience: As a Nutrition Coach, I simply do not feel comfortable recommending a product that I have had a negative personal experience with. It produced no health benefits for me at all, which means I’d never recommend it to my clients or readers.
  • Low Overall Potency: The formula only provides 9,000 milligrams worth of total nutrients in every serving. That makes it over 50% LESS potent than my top recommended greens powders, so I simply can not feel comfortable recommending this particular greens powder. Low overall potency means that health benefits are not as likely to be experienced.

Conclusion: Is Ghost Greens Worth Trying?

The Ghost Greens superfood powder by Ghost Lifestyle appears on the surface to be a compelling option for individuals seeking a high-quality greens supplement to augment their nutritional intake…

HOWEVER, after a closer look and professional analysis of the formula as a CNC, I would never recommend this product to any of my clients. The formula is far too weak at only 9,000 MG of total nutrients per serving, and on top of that, I had a negative personal experience with it. Therefore, I would strongly recommend avoiding this supplement.

Whether Ghost Greens is worth trying depends on your individual dietary needs, preferences, and budget considerations. If you value transparency in labeling, prioritize a diverse and high-quality greens blend, and are willing to invest in a premium product, Ghost Greens may align with your goals…I just personally don’t believe its worth the price.

As with any dietary supplement, it’s advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before adding Ghost Greens to your routine, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or are taking medications. Additionally, individual responses can vary, so paying attention to how your body reacts can guide your decision.

Bottom Line: In conclusion, Ghost Greens by Ghost Lifestyle is NOT worth trying in my opinon. For this kind of money, you can get a greens powder that is literally twice as potent if not more. I do not recommend Ghost Greens. I would rate it a 5/10 overall.

FAQs

What does Ghost Greens do for your body?

There are a lot of health benefits that the Ghost Lifestyle website claims this product can produce, but due to what in my view is a lack of potency in terms of superfoods per serving, this Ghost Greens doesn’t do much for your body at all. In fact, in my personal experience, it actually harmed my body by messing up my digestive system. With that said, at the very least, it provides your body with superfoods and nutrients that you most likely otherwise don’t get in your regular diet.

What do you mix with Ghost Greens?

According to the directions, Ghost Greens is meant to be mixed with a glass of water. I found that mixing it with a glass of water did work in terms of getting the ingredients to dissolve, but I also found that the texture and consistency was rather poor. You can really mix it in with any liquid you prefer. I would recommend mixing it with your favorite juice. I mixed it in with orange juice, which really seemed to improve my experience.

How do you make Ghost Greens taste better?

The taste of Ghost Greens is better than most superfood powders I have tried, but it’s still made entirely from fruits and vegetables, so it naturally does not taste very good. The best way to make it taste better is by mixing a scoop of it in with a smoothie or your favorite type of juice as opposed to using water. Orange juice is the best at masking the taste of the greens in my opinion.

Does Ghost Greens help with bloating?

No, Ghost Greens does not help with bloating in my experience. Based on the ingredients it contains, you would think that it could help with bloating, but it did quite literally nothing for me in the way of gastrointestinal benefits. With that said, everyone’s body is different. It’s possible that it may help you with bloating, but it is highly unlikely in my opinion.

Is Ghost Greens a probiotic?

No, Ghost Greens is not a probiotic supplement per se. It is first and foremost a superfood supplement that is designed to provide you with your daily dose of fruits and veggies. However, it does contain some probiotics in it, which is nice. If you are looking for a complete probiotic supplement with a high dosage of probiotics, this is the wrong product. It contains a very small amount of probiotics.
